Welcome to the Flockintiels website.This website started life as a vague idea over a quiet drink and has developed from there. I am not setting myself up as an expert but I have a strong interest in birds and if my experiences can help, amuse or encourage even one person, I will have achieved something. I have two outside aviaries, one with cockatiels and the other with small finches. There is a plan afoot to erect more but, for the moment I’d like to tell you about the ones already up and running. This will be a look from the beginning of the year to the end including all the problems and pleasures. I hope you enjoy it. Have a look through the pages and maybe you’ll find something to interest you or even encourage you to consider bird keeping as a hobby. Believe me, it is addictive, I started out with one cockatiel in a cage and it grew from there. We (the birds and myself) invite you to join us to share the trials, tribulations and delights of a year in our lives together. |
